LEL's Customer Action Program

The plans developed for LEL customers address four dynamic challenges:

I. Cost Reduction:

The LEL plan is designed to provide cost reduction while enhancing quality. LEL engineers a plan that saves in total logistics costs, above and beyond transactional pricing, to include logistics resource enhancement.

II. Service Improvement:

We provide a solution that increases service levels, and insulates the individual components of the supply chain from failure. We have primary and secondary vendors with significant assets, as well as contingency plans for any negative event. Our record of demonstrated superior customer satisfaction reflects our belief that it is “People-Process-Technology and Relationships”, which drives continuous improvement.

III. Seamless Integration:

Integrated logistics management requires participation of the logistics team at every level of the customer’s organization. This includes purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, accounting, inventory management, etc. The first order of business when reviewing an opportunity is analyzing the customers’ present method of distribution, their market area, density, and freight cost. We have identified a vision with pre-planning for future programs. It has also entailed significant data analysis on the operation to further develop an overall understanding and vision.

IV. Variability:

The LEL solution provides a framework that does not penalize The Customer in the event of seasonal changes in national truck movements or a spike in business. The LEL plan provides predictability in price and forecasts. Opportunity also exists to add/change or change plant sourcing without transport cost penalty to the operation or to the cost model developed for the new sourcing plan
